Most stuck traders think their problem is losing.
Look closer. Your worst stretches didn't start with a loss. They started with a win.
You manage to get funded. You string together a green week. And something shifts. You start walking a lil different. You take a setup you'd normally skip, because you're hot right now. You size up, because you've “earned it.” Two weeks later the profit is gone and you're calling it a losing streak.
It wasn't a losing streak. It was a winning trap.
Here's the breakdown. When you win, your ego wants the credit. "I'm good at this now."
But you didn't win because you're a winner. You won because you followed the plan. The moment the credit moves from the plan to you, the discipline that made the money stops feeling necessary. Same reason the guy hitting every shot starts jacking up bad ones. The hot hand doesn't miss because he went cold. He misses because he stopped taking quality shots.
So the skill that actually separates traders who keep their money isn't winning. It's being able to win without becoming someone else. Without inflating your ego.
That's the last symptom I'll name before Monday. The finish-line sabotage, the student-mode hiding place, and the winning trap. If you recognized yourself in two out of three, the workshop is for you.
Fair warning on who it's NOT for: brand-new traders and anyone hunting signals. This is for the trader who's been in the game and is done pretending the strategy is the problem.
Monday, July 20. 7:30pm CST. Free.
